A professor of Cultural Anthropology¹ in Boston, for the past ten years or so.² Herzog's contact, and even older than he is.³ Reports his discovery of the candidate for recruitment, Rani. Formerly in the same business as Herzog -- i.e., intelligence -- but now retired.⁴
