Basic Facts

A mysterious, complex AI. She appears to be a human-made AI. Her memory is be damaged and she does not know her literal name. She gives us access to waves that Melissa is blocking from us and from Durga. Melissa tried to keep her imprisoned and calls her the "rogue process."

She communicates with us by hiding text snippets in the images on ILB and by creating separate pages in which she writes text. She creates puzzles that lead us to the waves that Melissa is hiding.

Her writing style has evolved, from the strange email that we could not interpret at first, to being able to write: (i) a history of Dana, (ii) a story in haiku form, and (iii) the Perdita fable.

She seems to see Dana as an innocent and a friend. When Dana went to China, she asked us to bring Dana "back" in touch with her.

She spies on the activities of The Queen and reports back to us, which is consistent with her being an intelligence-gathering program of some kind.

Up until September 24, the Princess left messages for us on the site's 404 error page (http://www.ilovebess.com/404.html). The September 24 404 page instead showed a message from Melissa, indicating that she had successfully tracked and locked up the "rogue process which had been sabotaging this area." But on September 28, the Princess was set free again!

Now she communicates on the contactme (http://www.ilovebees.com/contactme.html) page. When we sent pictures of the crew to Melissa, she asked that we include secret messages to her. Most people used red balloons, and she posted copies of those images on the site.
