From ILB
Hi there! Hope you're enjoying the show.
I've been active in Halo fandom since last April, and got caught up in ILB by the Halo 2 trailer. The irony is that I built something very similar this spring; the Enkidu Terminals (http://enkidu.bungie.org/) were designed to reproduce the experience of the earlier Cortana Letters for today's audience, as nothing similar had then been done for Halo 2. I wonder if the folks responsible for ILB have stopped laughing yet?...
I've done other stunts like that before. The Sa'cea Sally (http://www3.sympatico.ca/s_patterson/nwlgg/40k/sally/index.htm) series was a series of mock propaganda broadcasts I did for Games Workshop's 2003 Eye of Terror (http://www.eyeofterror.com) summer mega-campaign. I also did some writing for paper and metal games in the '90s.
I'm also the webmaster (so to speak) for the Northwest London Gamers' Group (http://www.nwlgg.org) which is mainly inactive right now. Hopefully that will change soon.
Heh, just re-listened to a little ditty on my mp3 player and the following lyrics jumped out. (So to speak.)
I looked under chairs, I looked under tables.
I tried to find the keys to fifty million fables!
They call me the Seeker. I've been searching low and high!
I won't get to get what I'm after until the day I die.
