Kamal's sister. Yasmine used to be the best at everything: smartest, fastest, strongest, "unstoppable." She supposedly died of "metabolic cascade failure" when she was only six years old, and Kamal was only ten. Her death is probably the motivation for Kamal deciding to become a doctor.

Jersey suspects that Yasmine is the basis for Durga. In telephone calls, the Sleeping Princess refers to Kamal as her brother, which may mean that she too is based on Yasmine.

There is much speculation (including by Kamal) that the girl that died was not really Yasmine, and that the real Yasmine was kidnapped by forces unknown.
